A primary blend of Hip-Hop & Rock with an influence of Alternative & Pop, Brothers count in with grabbing harmonies and thought provoking lyrics. Their philosophical dance music will make your body and mind move like never before.
It all started back in 2012 when Tyler and Taran began their musical collaboration by driving across Canada, making an album by recording a new track in every province. After returning to their hometown of Halifax, NS, the album titled "Left to Write" was released under the name "Talkative", and was produced/engineered by Taran and his independent production company, previously called Shoebox Studios. Following the album release, a few years of travelling kept the east coast duo from making music.
In 2015 they rallied together with musicians from Woodstock, NB (Adam Bourque, Brandon Campbell) and formed a 4-piece band that made waves in Atlantic Canada with their unique new blend of classic hip hop/rock genres.
The duo explains that they’re taking a new approach to production, and while “Neverland” is still clinging to the last remnants of their old sound, they’ve shifted to utilizing fewer “live” instruments as they shift away from their trademark hip-hop/rock tightrope and into a more pop-inspired sound.FULL ARTICLE
